Ghaithan Meets Local Committees Heads in Khanfar

The head of the Executive Body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, Mr. Hassan Manser Ghaithan Al-Kazmi, met on Sunday, in the Literacy Eradication Hall in Jaar, with the heads of the local committees in the transitional centers of Khanfar District.


In the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Abdullah Barhout, Director of the Organizational Department, Mr. Salem Saleh, Director of the Political Department, Ms. Wijdan Mask, Director of the Women and Children’s Department, and Acting Interim Chief Executive Officer of Khanfar, Lawyer Saleh Abdullah Al-Fadhli.  The meeting discussed a number of important issues and files of concern to Khanfar District, most notably the security and service situation and the economic situation.


During the meeting, Mr. Ghaithan stressed the importance of concerted efforts between all components and social segments in Khanfar, in order to achieve development and prosperity in the district and for the local committees to take charge of the transactional centers in order to alleviate the suffering of the citizen.

Ghaithan stressed the importance of activating the role of the centers in implementing activities and programs aimed at addressing citizens’ concerns, as they are the nucleus of the council through which cooperation with society, openness to the masses, and discovery of capabilities and talents take place.

He noted the necessity of identifying qualified human cadres, taking advantage of their capabilities, and strengthening the role of the centers by assuming responsibility in consolidating community relations, reflecting the culture and policy of the Transitional Council, and striving to win the cause of the homeland as it is the actual force and popular incubator.

Ghaithan praised the active presence of the people of Khanfar District in the events and festivals taking place in the southern squares.  The meeting was attended by a number of members of the Executive Board of Khanfar's transitional and a number of journalists and media professionals.
