The Women’s Center for Research and Training organizes a workshop on social communication skills in media

A training workshop on “Social communication skills and strengthening the role of media in advocating women’s issues” was held in the seminar hall of the University of Aden, organized by the Women’s Center for Research and Training in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) within the project to promote gender equality and the agenda of women, peace and security.
The inauguration of the workshop was held with a speech by Dr. Huda Ali Alawi - Director of the Women’s Center for Research and Training, with a welcoming speech to all the guests and attendees, expressing her happiness at their presence in Yemen to embody the relationship and communication between male and female graduates and to facilitate the provision of all the necessary needs, to succeed on their work in the present.
Huda indicated that the workshop aims to improve the culture of dealing with women's issues in the social network and all media by consolidating the values ​​of justice and equality in publications, tweets and journalistic writing through the background of preparing the human story that seeks to create an idea of ​​​​the culture of promoting and correcting concepts about achieving gender equality, taking into account gender sensitivity and avoiding problems with those who oppose the principle of gender equality values.
The participants of male and female graduates received concepts from Mrs. Alaa Haddad, a gender specialist, Via Zoom program, on gender-sensitive language.
The participants also received from the trainer / Mohamed Hisham Bamatraf concepts about human stories and the practical side.
The participants were divided into working groups by reviewing the model of the human story, whose heroine was a "steadfast woman trying to face many challenges and circumstances in her career due to customs and traditions."
It is worth noting that in the coming days, the network will be launched for male and female graduates, organized by the Women's Center for Research and Training.
