Mr. Hassan Ghaythan Al-Kazmi, the head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, met with Nazem Azab, the Director-General of Civil Status in the district, on Thursday at his office in the headquarters of the local leadership in the city of Zinjibar, the capital of the governorate.

During the meeting, which was attended by Ali Sheikh Al-Souri, the Deputy Head of the executive body, Ghaythan was briefed on the work activities of the Civil Status Office in Zinjibar and the obstacles they face due to the lack of an independent building suitable for their work nature, document preservation, archiving, and office equipment that the administration lacks to facilitate their work tasks.

Mr. Hassan Ghaythan praised the efforts of the Civil Status Office in the capital of the governorate in facilitating citizens' transactions to obtain identity documents and verifying the accuracy of information and data, affirming the Transitional Council's keenness to support the efforts of the Civil Status Office, follow up on all issues hindering their work with the relevant authorities, and find solutions and remedies that enable them to perform their practical tasks in preserving all citizens' identity documents.
