The first National Coffee Exhibition, sponsored by CAC Bank, a cooperative agricultural financing bank, and with the participation of 40 companies, traders, and farmers, is continuing for the second consecutive day in the capital city of Aden.

According to the organizing committee of the exhibition, 40 companies, traders, and farmers are participating in the exhibition, organized by Yafea Heritage Foundation with the assistance and supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries.

The exhibition targets farmers, café owners, agricultural engineers, ministry offices, relevant official and concerned authorities, civil society organizations, tourists, cooperative associations, commercial companies, and coffee enthusiasts.

Mr. Shakib Aliwah, Deputy CEO of CAC Bank, praised the importance of the exhibition and its ongoing activities, saying, "The sponsorship of the Cooperative Agricultural Financing Bank for the first Coffee Exhibition in Aden comes after CAC Bank's keenness to be the diamond sponsor of the exhibition, as it has been a pioneer in supporting and financing agricultural, fishery, and cooperative projects for over 40 years since its establishment."

He pointed out the bank's experience in supporting and financing coffee cultivation as a financing share due to the significant importance of this crop in enhancing national exports, which contribute greatly to foreign currencies that boost the Yemeni economy in general and the value of the Yemeni riyal in particular.

He added, "Through this exhibition, we find an opportunity to invite all relevant parties to form an integrated system that works to increase coffee production due to its economic importance, wishing everyone success and prosperity."

In turn, Eng. Riyad Mohammed Abdo, Director of Agricultural, Fishery, and Sustainable Development Projects Management at CAC Bank, highlighted the importance of the bank's participation in sponsoring and supporting the first specialized exhibition, saying, "The sponsorship of the Cooperative Agricultural Financing Bank as a diamond sponsor for the first National Coffee Exhibition comes in line with the bank's role over decades in supporting the agricultural and fishery sectors, reaffirming our leadership in this field."

He emphasized that this exhibition is the first of its kind for coffee, which represents a priority for our country and the bank in light of the United Nations initiative adopted by FAO (One Country, One Product), where coffee was chosen as the top product in the bank's priorities.

He stressed that the bank attaches great importance to supporting rural women and environmentally friendly projects with low carbon emissions, expressing his hope that the exhibition will achieve its goals of urging everyone to focus on the importance of coffee replanting and supporting and encouraging farmers to return to its cultivation.
