Today, Thursday, the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium held its periodic meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, the Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidium.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Presidium reviewed the political landscape report presented by the Political Department of the General Secretariat. In this regard, the Body affirmed that the unity of the southern ranks and the steadfastness of the Southern Armed Forces have thwarted and will continue to thwart all conspiracies aimed at targeting the gains of the southern people and attempts to divert the course of their struggle to regain their state.

It also emphasized that the Houthi-Islamist aggression, which has recently reached its peak through coordinating political schemes, escalating operations on various fronts, hatching political factions, creating economic and service crises, and launching misleading media attacks to distort the positions of the Transitional Council and its leaders, is a clear indicator of the legitimacy of the Council's orientations and its path of struggle to achieve the aspirations of the southern people in regaining their state.

In another context, during its meeting, the Presidium addressed the continued unilateral actions taken by some leaders in the government in an attempt to further escalate the situation. The Transitional Council reiterated its rejection of any unilateral measures and escalation attempts, and reaffirmed its commitment to the calmness that ensures pushing the peaceful process towards a comprehensive solution under the auspices of the United Nations, in order to support our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Presidium also reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting and approved them, as well as discussed various organizational issues related to the work of the Council's bodies and took the necessary actions regarding them.
