The Presidium of the Transitional Council appreciates President Al-Zubaidi's efforts to strengthen the Council's relations with international decision-making countries

 The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting today, Tuesday, headed by Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the Presidium of the Council, Governor of the capital, Aden.
 At the outset of its meeting, the Presidium emphasized the depth of historical relations between the south and the Russian Federation, praising the understandings reached by the visit of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi and his accompanying delegation to the Russian capital, Moscow. And, praising in the context the efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi to strengthen the Council's relations with the countries active in international decision-making, in order to obtain support for the demands of the people of the south and their just cause.
 In another context, the authority discussed developments in the situation on the national scene, foremost of which is the economic situation, and the need for the government to direct its work to improve the exploitation of available resources, directing it to deal with services, especially electricity, before the advent of the summer season, and to provide the necessary reserves of oil derivatives to ensure its continued operation.
 The Presidium stressed the need to facilitate the work of the resource committee formed by the Presidential Leadership Council, ensure the supply of revenues from all governorates to the Central Bank, and stop disbursing any amounts of revenue to areas under the control of the Houthi militia, as well as stopping any disbursement operations to other governorates that refuse to supply their revenues for the benefit of the general budget, and warn against the continuation of this contrary procedure because of its severe harm to the stability of the economic situation.
 In its meeting, the Presidium also discussed the report submitted by the Supreme Economic Committee of the Council, in addition to a number of issues related to the work of the Council and its various bodies, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
At the end of its meeting, the Presidium congratulated our southern people at home and abroad, and the Arab and Islamic nations, on the blessed month of Ramadan, asking the Almighty God, to help everyone to perform the duty of fasting to the fullest, and to return it to our people and our nation every year with Yemen, goodness and blessings.
