Readers of the British newspaper "Daily Mail" called on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to declare surrender, in order to establish peace, after recent warnings from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
British citizens expressed their appreciation for the speech of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the anniversary of the defeat of Nazism in Stalingrad, in which he warned that Moscow would respond to the threats of the West, which supplies Ukraine with heavy armored vehicles, and "the response will not stop at the destruction of these armored vehicles, and everyone must understand  that".
The comments noted that "all of this could have been avoided if NATO, which is essentially an anti-Russian organization, had not felt the need to expand to the limits of this nuclear power".
One reader wrote: "The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, must surrender in order for peace to come."
"The US asked for this conflict," said one user. "They are not defending their borders, but they are trying to defeat Russia." Another participant in the conversation commented, "Zelensky should be found guilty of war crimes."
The comments concluded with Biden's call to "stop harassing the Russian bear."
After launching a special operation to liberate Donbass from Ukrainian neo-Nazis, the United States and its allies have supplied Ukrainian forces with weapons worth billions of dollars. New shipments from Washington and Berlin include Abrams and Leopard tanks.
Russia sent a memorandum to NATO countries over the supply of weapons to Kyiv forces, and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that any shipment containing ammunition would become a legitimate target for the Russian army. The Foreign Ministry also said that NATO countries were "playing with fire" by arming the Kyiv regime.
