The Supreme Economic Committee of the Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting for the month of December

On Wednesday, the Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting for the month of December in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Muhammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.
 The meeting discussed a number of issues and developments in the economic situation accordance to  the committee's plan, most notably the rampant corruption in the joints of the state and government.
 The meeting also called for the need to speed up the restructuring of state institutions, the most important of which are the Central Agency for Control and Accountability and the Anti-Corruption Authority.
 As well, it stressed the need to  seriously  hold the corrupt accountable, not only in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, but also in all state agencies.
 It also stood before the reports of the sub-committees on the level of the implementation of their plans for the year 2022, as well as the draft plans for the year 2023.
