President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, met on Sunday, July 3, the Director General of Aden Refineries, Eng. Ahmed Massad.

 During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief heard from Eng. Massad a full explanation of the level of achievement in the maintenance work of the refinery's power plant, and highlighted the difficulties faced by the refinery's management in its efforts to restore it to service.

 The Commander-in-Chief stressed the necessity of restarting refineries as an important national and economic facility, in supplying the state treasury with hard currency, creating supply stability in the local market, as well as the speedy completion of the remaining stages of plant maintenance, and bringing it into service to alleviate part of the generation deficit in the electrical system in the capital.  Aden, especially in light of the growing demand for energy during the summer.

 At the end of the meeting, Eng. Massad expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Leader for the attention and concern he attaches to restarting the refinery to perform its national role, stressing that the refinery management will make every effort to complete its tasks as soon as possible.
