President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met at his residence in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, Brother Abdul Karim Saleh Shaif, Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, former Deputy Governor of Aden.

 In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed Ambassador Shayef, stressing the importance of the southern national alignment to achieve the upcoming benefits and to ensure the realization of the aspirations of our people, and to confront the Iranian Houthi projects.

 President Al-Zubaidi noted the Southern Transitional Council's openness to all southern forces, components and personalities, in order to build a true national partnership and based on the belief in the rule that the south will only be with all and all its people.

 

 For his part, Ambassador Abdul Karim Shaif expressed his happiness with this meeting, extending his congratulations to President Al-Zubaidi on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council, wishing him and the leadership of the Council success.

 The meeting reviewed a number of topics and issues related to the southern issue and the efforts of the Presidential Command Council in the context of addressing the dangers of the Iranian expansion through its arm in Yemen, the Houthi militia.

 The meeting expressed the need for the concerted efforts of all to advance the tasks of the stage and alleviate the suffering of our people in the south, stressing the need to strengthen the government's efforts to improve services and lead the battle of construction, development and reconstruction as urgent national tasks.
