"CAC Bank" Participates in Joint Workshop

CAC Bank, represented by its branch in Taiz, participated in a joint workshop between the banking sector and media professionals as part of the activities of Global Money Week, which takes place from March 18th to 24th. The workshop was held under the title: Financial Inclusion and the Role of Media in Enhancing the National Economy and Financial Stability in Yemen. It was sponsored by the Central Bank of Yemen and under the patronage of Nabil Shamsan, the Governor of Taiz, organized by Aman Tech Foundation for Financial Awareness and Education.

The workshop, in which CAC Bank participated, represented by Dr. Abdeljalil Al-Harani, the branch manager in Taiz, continues for two days and includes the participation of various governmental and banking figures in the governorate, including Dr. Mohammed Al-Samai, the Director of Finance in Taiz, Mr. Qasim Mar'i, the Director of Relations in the governorate, as well as several employees from the Central Bank in Taiz, representatives of local authorities, banks, and financial institutions, and a number of media professionals from various media outlets.

The workshop features lectures by Dr. Adel Al-Aamri from the University of Taiz, Mr. Abdulqahir Al-Qahiri, and Mr. Dawood Al-Sharaihi. Through their lectures, they discuss the importance of financial and banking culture in promoting financial inclusion, developing self-resources for children and youth, and raising awareness among all segments of the Yemeni society about its impact on financial stability in Yemen.

Dr. Abdeljalil Al-Harani, the branch manager of CAC Bank in Taiz, explained that the bank's participation in this workshop aims to encourage children, youth, and other segments of society to learn about financial matters and savings, and how they can earn their livelihood through them. He emphasized that CAC Bank, under the leadership of Mr. Hashid Al-Humaidani, the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO, is keen on participating in this event, as well as other activities held in schools to educate and increase students' knowledge about the concept of money, savings, and financial inclusion.
