Adel Al-Asam and Salem Al-Asam Memorial Football Championship for popular teams concluded with Al-Yarmouk team being crowned as the champions. The tournament was funded by the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) and organized by the Youth Committee of Khormaksar District.

In the final match held at the New Doctors' Neighborhood Stadium in Khormaksar, Al-Yarmouk secured the championship title after defeating Al-Areesh Stars with a score of 2-1.

Al-Yarmouk took the lead in the first half with a goal and managed to double their lead in the second half, making it 2-0 in their favor. However, Al-Areesh Stars scored their first goal, reducing the deficit to 2-1. The match ended with this score, and Al-Yarmouk was crowned as the champions of Adel and Salem Al-Asam Memorial Championship.

At the end of the tournament, Al-Yarmouk team was honored with the champion's trophy and a cash prize. Al-Areesh Stars received the runner-up trophy and a cash prize, while Al-Wai team was honored with the Best Team trophy.

Shuraf Mahfouz from Al-Yarmouk team was awarded the Best Player of the tournament, and Hamoudi Al-Doktor was recognized as the top scorer and received the Top Scorer trophy. Bilal Khaled and Qasim Al-Zamki were named the Best Young Players, and Ali Sanad was awarded the Best Goalkeeper trophy. Additionally, senior players Jamal Marqoub, Abdul Latif Faisal, Mansour Al-Atar, and Salem Harimo were honored.

The closing ceremony was attended by Khaled Al-Khalifi, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports for Sports Sector, Awad Mashbuh, the Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Arafat Al-Dhale'i, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council Football Association, Ahmed Al-Masoudi, the Director General of the Sports City, Khaled Al-Zamki, the Director of the Youth and Sports Department in the Executive Authority of the Southern Transitional Council, Shukri Hussein, the Director of Media at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ayoub Amer, a member of the Youth and Sports Administration in the Transitional Council, Yasser Al-Asam, the Director of the Office of the CEO of CAC Bank, Khaled Afara, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Mansoura Directorate, Mohammed Al-Awlaqi, a senior journalist, and Farhan Al-Muntasir, the Director General of Clubs and Sports Federations.
