CAC BANK, the cooperative and agricultural savings bank, inaugurated its banking card services and mobile application, "CAC BANKI," on Tuesday, March 5, in the presence and under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Brigadier General Salem Al-Suqatri, in the capital city of Aden.
During the ceremony, the banking card services and CAC BANKI application were introduced, reflecting CAC BANK's understanding of your dual life by providing an easy, secure, and fast access to your accounts and various banking transactions without delay or waiting at the branch. These services can be used from anywhere around the world.
CAC BANKI is not just an application; it is a comprehensive electronic banking system that supports the policy of electronic cash payment, both locally and internationally, serving all bank customers, including companies and individuals. It empowers them to manage their accounts with advanced technologies through the internet or mobile application.
Regarding CAC BANK's banking cards are two types:
1. Global cards (MASTERCARD) divided into:
- Prepaid Mastercard
- Silver-Credit Mastercard
- Debit Mastercard
2. Local prepaid payment cards:
These are prepaid cards not linked to a bank account. They can be loaded with the desired amount and used for cash withdrawals through ATMs spread across Yemen.
During the inauguration ceremony, Brigadier General Salem Al-Suqatri, the Minister of Agriculture, and Fisheries expressed his happiness with the bank's achievements and the support it provides to the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
Minister Al-Suqatri stated that the achievements made today, under difficult circumstances, are the result of wise efforts in transferring the general administration to the capital city of Aden, far from the control of the rebel militias. He emphasized the close relationship between the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and the bank in terms of administration, quality, and supervision. He congratulated the bank's employees and the influential figures associated with the bank on the launched services, urging government institutions, private sectors, and businessmen to benefit from the banking services provided by the bank.
The Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of CAC BANK, Mr. Hashed Al-Hamadani, delivered a welcoming speech, highlighting the exceptional services launched for the first time as an integrated electronic service system to serve the development process in the temporary capital, Aden.
Al-Hamadani emphasized that the services provided by CAC BANK are in line with the government's directions to enhance infrastructure, banking services, and the development of the national banking sector. They also aim to combat currency speculation and promote the global trend towards implementing the principles of governance and electronic services. He expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, who provides CAC BANK with full care and attention.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Tawfiq Abdulwahid Ali Al-Sharjabi, the Minister of Water and Environment, Mr. Salem Salman Al-Wali, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Muti Ahmed Qasem Dammaj, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Mumen Al-Saqaf, the Transitional Executive Director of the Capital City of Aden, Mr. Sami Al-Saadi, the President of the Economic Institution, Brigadier Abu Bakr Jabr, the Deputy Director of Aden's Security, and several local authorities, bank CEOs, companies, and banking institutions in the capital city of Aden.
