On Monday, Mr. Hassan Ghaythan Al-Kazmi, the Executive Body Head of the Local Leadership Council in Abyan Governorate, accompanied by the Director-General of Zinjibar distric, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Shaddadi, inspected Al-Shuhada'' Square Park in the governorate.

During the visit, Ghaythan was briefed by Abdullah Barhoot, the Director of Organizational Administration, and Haidera Al-Saadi, the Director of Financial and Administrative Administration, along with the park's manager, Ms. Intibah Sillan, who received him and the accompanying delegation. They discussed the main obstacles and difficulties facing the park's management.

As part of the visit, Ghaythan and the accompanying delegation familiarized themselves with the main works, renovations, and infrastructure rehabilitation of the facility, which represents a tourist landmark and attraction for the residents of the governorate.

Mr. Hassan Ghaythan highlighted the role played by Al-Shuhada' Square before it was destroyed by the Yemeni occupation forces as part of the systematic destruction of all facilities and recreational areas in the governorate. It had remained a popular destination for tourists and visitors for decades.

He emphasized the necessity of completing all preparations, landscaping the gardens, providing children's equipment, and creating recreational spaces for families, in order to enable the park to receive visitors during holidays and occasions.
