Mr. Hassan Ghaithan Al-Kazmi, the Executive Body Head of the Local Leadership Council of the Transitional Council in Abyan governorate, met on Monday at the headquarters of the local leadership of the Transitional Council with the Director General of Zinjibar district, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Shaddadi.

During the meeting, Mr. Ghaithan was briefed by Engineer Mukhtar Al-Shaddadi on the activities of the local authority in the district. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of the Executive Body, Mr. Ali Sheikh Al-Souri, and Director of the Youth and Sports Administration, Mr. Abdulraqueb Al-Senidi.

The meeting discussed various issues related to service, security, and economic aspects, as well as the damages that accompanied the educational process due to the shortage of textbooks and the repeated strikes witnessed by all schools due to the delayed payment of teachers' salaries.

Mr. Hassan Ghaithan praised the efforts made by Engineer Mukhtar Al-Shaddadi in addressing the issues of citizens since assuming responsibility for the local authority in the capital city of Zinjibar. He commended his frequent visits to monitor the level of executive performance and evaluate the work in the Body's offices in the district.

He emphasized the leadership council's commitment in the governorate to fully support the efforts of the local authority and guide the council's leadership in the district to work alongside it through coordination and mutual cooperation to enhance the role of the capital city, given its importance as the face and center of the governorate.
