On Thursday, the Head of the General Administration for Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council received, at Aden International Airport, the Head of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Alexander Kinshak, and the accompanying delegation.

Dr. Al-Hajj expressed his pleasure at the visit of Mr. Kinshak to the capital, Aden, and the opportunity to meet with him, which reflects the strength of the historical relationship between the South and the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Hajj recalled the depth of the historical relations between the two countries and Russia's support for the South during the period following the independence of the Southern State. This support included building the southern cadres in various economic, military, and security fields.
