President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Council, met Alexander Krasnok, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, on Monday.

During the meeting, which was attended by Timur Zabirov, Russia's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and officials from Yemen and Gulf Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, they discussed the latest political and economic developments in our country, as well as opportunities to achieve a lasting peace through a comprehensive political process led by the United Nations.

Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, a member of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium, and Head of the Consultative and Reconciliation Authority of the Presidential Council, Amr Al-Bayd, a member  of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium and the President's Representative for Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Nasser Al-Khabji, Head of the Political Assistant Body of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium, attended the meeting.
