Research and Decision Support Center of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Monday in the capital, Aden, under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohammed Jafar, the Deputy Head of the Center.

During the meeting, which was attended by the historian and political writer Najmi Abdulmajeed, the situation in the Red Sea was discussed, highlighting the strategic importance of the southern geography and the regional and international competition and the conflicts of major powers in the region.

The meeting also addressed the available opportunities to deal with the current situation and to address the imbalance and alliances in the Red Sea aimed at achieving different goals.

Furthermore, the Center discussed other topics on its agenda and made appropriate decisions.
