Mr. Hassan Mansur Ghaythan Al-Kazmi, the Head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership in the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, inspected the cotton gin, oil factory, and vocational institute in Al-Kud city, Khunfariyah district, on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Mr. Ali Sheikh Al-Souri, the Deputy Head of the Executive Body.

This visit comes as part of the efforts exerted by the Southern Transitional Council's leadership in the governorate to closely monitor the operations of government facilities.

Ghaythan examined the management of the cotton gin, oil factory, and vocational institute, and observed the progress of their departments in light of the destruction they suffered during the wars that the governorate witnessed in the past years.

Ghaythan and the accompanying delegation listened to their concerns and hardships, as well as their commitment to preserving these facilities, which are considered one of the most important achievements in the governorate and the south in general. They also discussed gradually improving their operation by supporting farmers in cultivating cotton in large quantities, in order to restore the cotton gin and factory to their previous capacity.

The administrators of these facilities highly appreciated the visit of the Head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership in the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate and the accompanying delegation. They expressed their hope that the Council's leadership would provide support in the restoration and rehabilitation of the facilities that were damaged during the past years.
