Captain Al-Naqib: No Peace with Terrorism

sadaalhakika

Official Spokesperson of the Southern Armed Forces, Major Mohammed Al-Naqib, issued an important statement regarding the terrorist operations that targeted our armed forces in the governorates of Shabwa and Abyan.

The following is the text of the statement:

Terrorist organizations have entrenched themselves, demonstrated greater solidarity and integration than ever before, and assumed roles and coordination within the framework of the old renewed unified control room. This became evident since the beginning of our forces' operations against the terrorist organizations of Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and it was fully exposed after the reclassification of the Houthi militias as a terrorist organization by the United States. Without a doubt, these militias are the source, the financier, and the perpetrator of the terrorism directed against the South, its armed forces, its interests, international shipping lanes, and the overall security and stability of the region.

This confirms the realism and correctness of our early warning against this multi-headed terrorism and the need for a comprehensive and non-selective confrontation, a confrontation that combines national, regional, and international efforts.

In the past twenty-four hours, two martyrs have fallen from our Southern Armed Forces in the border front of Dhale, and three martyrs and two wounded in  Sihem Al-Sharq operation in the governorate of Abyan, Modia district, as a result of a terrorist operation that targeted two military patrols with two explosive devices. In Shabwa, a terrorist explosion with two planted explosive devices on the public road in Wadi Sura, Al-Masayna area, resulted in the martyrdom of a civilian and the injury of four heroes from Shabwa Defense Forces.

Our Southern Armed Forces are engaged in our sacred national liberation battle with all their strength, determination, capability, and competence against terrorist organizations on the border fronts and in the areas of the war on terrorism and its eradication. They affirm their continued brave confrontation and pursuit of terrorism, its organizations, and its militias. The pure blood that continues to flow generously is the price and cost of achieving this existential and decisive battle, and it is the source of the resilience needed to achieve a definitive victory.

We affirm that there is no peace with terrorism, and the only means to achieve sustainable peace, which requires the restoration of the full sovereignty of the Southern state.

May mercy and eternal rest be upon the righteous martyrs.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.

Glory and pride to our people and the Southern Armed Forces.
