Shabwah Defense Forces have issued an important statement regarding the explosion of two explosive devices targeting military vehicles belonging to the First Brigade of Shabwah Defense in Al-Masinah area of Al-Said district.

The following is the text:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

While Shabwah Defense Forces are engaged in their decisive battle to secure the borders of Shabwah Governorate and deter the brutal Houthi terrorism, amidst the ongoing war to uproot the terrorist strongholds that target security and stability, the forces of evil and terrorism have targeted a military vehicle belonging to the First Brigade of Shabwah Defense with two explosive devices planted on the public road in Wadi Sura'a in Al-Masinah area of  Al-Said district. As a result, a civilian martyr fell, and four other soldiers from the First Brigade of Shabwah Defense were injured while performing their national duty to protect security and stability.

Shabwah Defense Forces strongly condemn the terrorist targeting of innocent lives without distinction, and they affirm their commitment to continue their national mission on the path paved by the heroic martyrs until the eradication of brutal terrorism. The planting of roadside explosive devices, which claimed the lives of innocent civilians, will not deter them from continuing their decisive battle and their right to defend the security and stability of Shabwah Governorate.

As Shabwah Defense Forces fight the battle of dignity and defense of Shabwah's security and the tranquility of its people, they call on the people of Shabwah, in general, to stand united against the foreign terrorism that has infiltrated Shabwah and the south, using some areas of the governorate as shelters and launching pads for its terrorist operations.
