Mr. Hassan Ghaythan Al-Kazmi, the Executive Head of the Local Leadership Council in  Abyan Governorate, chaired an extensive meeting today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the local leadership. The meeting included representatives from Zinjibar district in the National Assembly and the Advisory Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Hassan Ghaythan praised the achievements of the Southern Transitional Council, which have strengthened the cohesion and unity of the south and preserved the gains of the southern liberation through victories in international and regional arenas for the southern people and their cause of liberation.

Ghaythan added during the meeting, which was attended by several members of the Executive Body, that the political leadership sought to expand the horizons of the council within the framework of the cause it carries, based on a vision rooted in southern national constants, starting from national duties and belief in the democratic approach and partnership that has strengthened the popular base among all segments of society.

The meeting addressed a range of issues related to service and security aspects in the district and the necessity of harnessing the capabilities that promote its advancement and development, in a way that ensures its ability to face challenges.

The meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation and joint coordination in supporting the role of the Transitional Council in the district and the governorate, in line with the aspirations of the stage, and contributing to the council's orientations and the process of development work in a manner that serves the interests of the citizens.
