Abyan Governor Discusses with General Coordinator of International Organizations the organizations’ interventions during 2024

The Governor of Abyan, Major General Abu Bakr Hussein Salem, met on Tuesday in the presence of the Undersecretary of Abyan Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Nasser Jarfush. The General Coordinator of International Organizations in the Governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Dawil, met with the Advisor of Aden Governor for Legal Affairs, Judge Fahman Atiri, to discuss coordination of future work in the Coordination Office within its legal framework and the organizations’ interventions during 2024 in Abyan Governorate.

The general coordinator of international organizations in the governorate reviewed the humanitarian and development projects, including economic empowerment and livelihood projects, as well as the organizations implementing interventions within the framework of Abyan Governorate during the year 2024, and the most important projects that will be implemented and are concerned with showing the aesthetic view of the capital, Zanzibar, and the entrances to the governorate, in coordination and cooperation with the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the governorate.

The Governor welcomed the Advisor for Legal Affairs and praised the efforts of the Office of the General Coordinator of International Organizations in following up on donor organizations to implement interventions in development, service and humanitarian projects within the framework of the Governorate, stressing the need to pay attention to projects that directly touch the needs of the citizen and relieve him of the burdens of living life.

The meeting was attended by the Director-General of Social Affairs and Labor in the governorate, Mr. Yahya Al-Yazidi, the Director-General of Legal Affairs in the governorate, Attorney Ali Rajeh, the Director-General of the Cleaning Fund, Sheikh Mansour Wadi, the Director-General of the Abyan Governor’s Office, Mr. Suleiman Al-Wakud, and the Deputy General Coordinator of International Organizations, Mr. Anis Al-Yousifi.
