On Monday, December 25, 2023, a training course was inaugurated for members of the Agricultural Cooperative and Rural Development Bank Union, known as CAC Bank, in Aden. The course included all union members in the headquarters building and all bank branches.
The objective of the course is to familiarize union members with their rights and duties as a legal and intermediary body between the management and employees. It aims to improve the working conditions of employees, defend the interests of the institution, and uphold its principles.
CAC Bank, under the leadership of Mr. Hashid Al-Hamdani, the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the bank, takes the lead in organizing such courses as the first bank to gather its union members in a training course to acquaint them with their rights and duties.
The course targeted 25 members of the Agricultural Cooperative and Rural Development Bank Union (CAC Bank) and lasted for four days. It covered two main topics: the first topic focused on union rights and duties, while the second topic focused on the art of dialogue and negotiation. The idea of organizing the course originated from the union president, Mr. Adham Azam Khalifa, under the supervision, preparation, and presentation of Dr. Maria Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sharmani, the Head of the Training and Development Sector at CAC Bank.
