General Secretariat's Team Headed by Al-Jaadi Visits Socotra Governorate

On Monday, Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Member of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium, the Secretary-General, arrived with a team from the Secretariat to Socotra Governorate, under the guidance of President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.


Upon their arrival at Socotra Airport, the Secretary-General and the team accompanying him, consisting of the Head of the Organizational Department, Hussein Al-Ghazali, the Head of the Political Department, Mohamed Battis, the Head of the Economic Department, Abdel-Qawi Al-Solh, and the Deputy Head of the Media and Culture Department, Omar Aqeel, were received by Mr. Raafat Al-Thaqali, Socotra’s Transitional Executive Chief, governor of the governorate, members of the local leadership of the council, and social and military figures in the governorate.


Al-Jaadi spoke, after his arrival in Socotra Governorate, saying: This visit comes to participate with the people of the governorate in celebrating the 56th anniversary of National Independence Day, November 30, in addition to holding meetings with the local leadership of the Council, and the local authority in the governorate, with the aim of strengthening everyone’s efforts and improving and developing their performance, as well as listening to the challenges they face while practicing their daily work.


For his part, Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali praised the visit of the Secretary-General and his accompanying team to Socotra Governorate, which confirms the extent of the Transitional Council’s interest in the governorate, which would enhance communication, raise the level of work, and closely follow the needs of the governorate.

 

Participating in receiving the Secretary-General and the Secretariat Team at Socotra Airport were the Governor’s Undersecretaries, Raed Al-Jaribi and Saleh Ali, the Commander of the First Marine Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Ali Omar Kafayn, the Director-General of Police, Colonel Ali Muhammad Al-Daksmi, and the Commander of the Security Belt Forces, Colonel Muhammad Ahmed Faarhi.
