The head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, Mr. Hassan Munser Ghaithan Al-Kazmi, on Saturday, accompanied by his deputy, Mr. Ali Sheikh Al-Suri, inspected the progress of work activity on the Bates Road - Rasd.

During the inspection visit, in which they were accompanied by the Director General of Khanfar District, Lawyer Mazen Balil Al-Yousifi, and the Head of the Transitional Coordination at Abyan University, Dr. Yaslam Balil, they briefed Ghaithan and the accompanying team on the progress of work on Tafa Bridge, which is being implemented by Al-Majd Contracting Company with funding from the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund.

Ghaithan stressed the importance of making this vital and strategic project a success, which will alleviate the suffering of citizens after decades in which all Yafa’ districts suffered from rough roads and long distances.

For his part, lawyer Mazen Belalil Al-Yousifi pointed out the keenness of the Local Authority in Khanfar District to continuously follow up on the work of the project according to the geographical scope of the district and to facilitate the work of the implementing agencies of the project.
