The Transitional Council Presidium stands before the upcoming visit of President Al-Zubaidi to Moscow

Today, Thursday, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, chaired an emergency meeting of the Presidium of the Council, via video conference.
 In the meeting, which included the ministers of the Council in the parity government, and the southern military and security leaders, the President assured the southern military and security forces that they would be paid two months' salary before the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that the salaries would be paid regularly after completing the technical arrangements related to organizing the human cadre of the units. 
 In the context, he praised the legendary steadfastness of the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces, and stressing that the leadership of the Council will spare no effort to arrange their situation and ensure that they continue to receive their salaries and entitlements in a timely manner.
 The meeting stood before the upcoming visit of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and his accompanying delegation to the Russian capital, Moscow, at an official invitation from the Russian government to lead the Southern Transitional Council. In this regard, the President stressed that the visit comes in the context of the distinguished historical relations between our country and the Russian Federation, noting the openness of the leadership of the Transitional Council to various friendly countries to advance the cause of the people of the south in a way that guarantees reaching a solution for the return of the two states to the pre-May 22, 1990 borders, and fulfills the aspirations of the people of the south to restore and establish their independent, fully sovereign, federal state.
 In a separate context, the meeting discussed the issue of the organizational structure of the Transitional Council at the political and military levels, and the ongoing preparations for holding the consultative meeting to stand up to the results achieved by the two southern national dialogue teams with the various southern components.
 At the end of their meeting, the conferees discussed a number of military, security and organizational issues related to the work of the various council bodies.
