On Wednesday, October 5, the Supreme Economic Committee of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting for the month of October, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Muhammad Ali Matash, Chairman of the Committee.

The meeting reviewed the results of the committee’s chairman’s visit to Hadhramout and Al-Mahra. It also reviewed the directives of President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, as well as the directives of the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries and the Minister of Transport, related to food security, ports, sea tongues and fish anchors.

The meeting stressed that the stage requires concerted efforts and work to accomplish tasks and present economic and financial visions and studies to ensure increased resources and improve the lives of citizens.

It also discussed the topics included in the work plan, the committee's activity between the two meetings, and what has been accomplished during the past period, taking a number of measures, decisions and recommendations.
