The Presidency of the Transitional Council stresses the importance of the role of the leaders of the Council in the governorates in assisting local authorities in carrying out their tasks

On Monday, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting headed by Professor Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council.
 At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees stood for a minute of silence to read Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of duty from the heroes of the anti-terror forces and the security belt in Al-Dhalea governorate, whose souls died in the cowardly terrorist operation that targeted the leadership of the security belt forces in the governorate yesterday, and the late Brigadier General Saif Shayef  Hussein, Deputy Chief of Joint Operations in the Al-Dhalea axis, praying to the Almighty to grant them and all the martyrs of the south in peace, and to wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
 In its meeting, the commission discussed the report submitted by the Decision-Making Support Center on the latest political, economic, and security developments in the southern governorates, and the recommendations and proposals it included to deal with them.
 The authority also stood before the role of the executive bodies of the local leaders of the council in the governorates in working with the leaders of the local authority in the governorates to push the branches of ministries, agencies and central institutions of the state to carry out their tasks and responsibilities towards the citizen, foremost of which is providing services that concern the citizen, and helping service institutions to overcome any obstacles to their work, and identifying  The shortcomings in their performance to enable the governors to deal with them when they default.
 The meeting also stood before the orientations of the parity government and its work agendas for the coming period, foremost of which is the completion of the implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, and the results of the Riyadh consultations. In this context, the Commission renewed the Transitional Council's keenness to assist in its implementation.
 The authority stressed the need for the central bank to carry out its duties in ensuring the stability of the local currency, calling on the government represented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and its branches in the governorates and leaders of local authorities to carry out their duties in controlling and monitoring prices, and to put an end to the greed of merchants and their manipulation of food prices that burdened the citizen.
 At the conclusion of its meeting, the Presidency stood before the rest of the issues on its agenda and took the necessary measures in this regard.
