The Women’s Research and Training Center at the Crown Aden Resort concluded a broad training program to enhance the knowledge and skills of members of the Master of Feminist Studies graduate network on “collecting disaggregated data, analyzing and evaluating gender” and “integrating gender in writing project proposals and managing and facilitating workshops and seminars during the period that lasted from 6 -9- November 2023 AD."
"The training program activities culminated in a visit by UNDP officials within the Peace Support Facility (PSF) program, represented by Mr. Klaus Christensen - Strategic Planning Specialist Yemen, and Ms. Alaa Al-Haddad - Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist, United Nations Development Program Yemen, Amman Office, and in the generous presence of Dr. Adel Abdel Majeed. Al-Abadi, Vice President of the University of Aden and Acting President of the University.
This comes within the activities of the second phase of the project to promote gender equality and the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, which is implemented by the Center for Women’s Studies at the university in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Laswar, President of the University of Aden."
