This morning in the capital, Aden, the Yemeni Consultants Center and the Accountants Syndicate awarded the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank, CAC Bank, the Banking Accounting Ambassador Shield during a ceremony honoring the winners of the Accounting Ambassadors Award, the first session of the year 2023, coinciding with the seventh Yemeni Accountant Day, which is organized by the Consultants Center and the Yemeni Syndicate of Certified Accountants for the winners of the Accounting Ambassadors Award in Yemen.
In the ceremony, which came under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Salem Saleh Bin Brik, and His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ashwal, and official sponsorship from Yemen Soft Company, and commissioned by the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of CAC Bank, Mr. Hashid Al-Hamdani, the Vice President received the Executive Director of the Support Operations Sector, Mr. Shakib Aliwa (the award) in honor of the distinguished achievement achieved by the bank in the field of accounting, excellence and positive influence, within a group of institutions, universities and banks, led by CAC Bank.
Moaz Al-Sabri, head of the Syndicate of Certified Public Accountants, said in a speech to the attendees that the certificate goes through three stages. The first stage begins in September of each year, and the screening process for five candidates in each track takes place during the month of October as a second stage, and the winners are notified to celebrate the honoring process on the tenth of November at the final stage.
Al-Sabri stressed that the Accountants Syndicate is keen to enhance the role of the accountant, take care of the interests of members, preserve the honor of the profession, encourage scientific and professional research, and raise the efficiency of accountants through training and continuing education and all accounting systems in accordance with the technological developments of the current era.
He pointed out that March 23, 2014 will remain an immortal day in the birth of the syndicate entity (Yemeni Accountants Syndicate) as a professional, non-profit accounting civil society organization.
The ceremony included many speeches that touched on the importance of the event in honoring the winners of the Accounting Ambassadors Award in its first session, which will strengthen the role and status of the accountant in various sectors, and a video presentation of the Accounting Ambassadors Award and an overview of the Consultants Center.
