Today, Wednesday, Mr. Hassan Munser Ghaithan Al-Kazmi, the Transitional Chief Executive of Abyan, was briefed on the progress of work in the General Administration of Civil Status and Civil Registry during his meeting with the Director General of Civil Status in the governorate, Colonel Muhammad Ahmed Al-Dubahi.


 During the meeting, which was attended by a member of the National Assembly, Mr. Muhammad Al-Amoud, Professor Ghaithan heard from Colonel Muhammad Al-Dubahi about the nature of work and what the administrative staff does in facilitating many transactions for citizens, as well as the efforts made by workers in the Civil Status Department and its branches in the districts, and the most prominent difficulties and challenges facing the conduct of the Administration work.


 The Transitional Council's President of Abyan appreciated the efforts made by the General Administration of Civil Status, stressing the importance of preserving the southern identity, which is the responsibility of all the people of the south as a whole.



 Ghaithan stressed the need to feel responsible for preserving the southern identity in light of the current circumstances and the wave of systematic displacement that the governorate is witnessing with the aim of changing the demographic composition.




 For his part, Colonel Al-Dubahi stressed the keenness of the Civil Status Administration in the process of examining and verifying the required identification documents with high professionalism during the process of issuing the ID card.
