Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met in his office at the headquarters of the Assembly, Sami Al-Barti, Chairman of the General Postal Authority.

The Acting President of the Council was briefed from Al-Barti on the conditions of the offices of the General Postal Authority, the level of services they provide to the public, and the mechanisms and ways to enhance and develop its work.

During the meeting, Al-Kathiri also listened from Al-Barti to an explanation of the studies and visions of the work of the logistics sector in the Authority, the preparation of the unified database, and the updating of contact points through the Authority's offices in the capital Aden and neighboring governorates, which would enhance the competencies and powers of the post to serve citizens within the framework of the law and the decisions of the government issued in this regard.

At the end of the meeting, Al-Kathiri praised the efforts of the General Postal Authority, pointing out that the Transitional Council in all its bodies is keen to activate the work of the General Postal Authority and overcome all difficulties facing its functioning through joint work in order to meet and overcome challenges and ensure the progress of its work as required and provide quality services to citizens.
