On Wednesday, the Executive Body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate held its first periodic meeting for the month of October, headed by Hassan Munser Ghaithan Al-Kazmi, Chairman of the Body.

In its periodic meeting, the Body congratulated the political leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, represented by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, on the occasion of the 60th National Day of the glorious October 14 Revolution, and the success of President Aidarous’ political discussions abroad.

The Body praised the public momentum witnessed in a number of governorate districts in joy on the occasion of the October 14 anniversary and in solidarity with the Palestinian people and the brutal aggression they are being subjected to by the Zionist entity.

The meeting discussed the report submitted by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mashriqi, Director of the Department of Thought and Religious Guidance for the Governorate’s Transitional Council, which touched on the role and activity of the administration during the third semester period.

In its meeting, the Body stressed the importance of the sublime message of preachers and imams of mosques in awareness and enlightenment campaigns in light of the campaigns that the people of the South are subjected to, targeting the social fabric and undermining their liberation revolution.

The meeting condemned the massacres that the Palestinian people were subjected to by the Zionist entity, and praised the interaction of the Arab brothers with the plight that the people of the Gaza Strip are going through and the process of forced displacement from the Strip by providing humanitarian aid, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
