President Al-Zubaidi is Briefed on National Southern Media Authority's Plans

 The President, Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, was briefed on the plans and programs of the National Southern Media Authority to expand its activities and mechanisms of work in the capital Aden and other southern governorates, during his meeting on Sunday with Professor Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority and his deputy, Professor Mukhtar Al-Yafei.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed during the meeting, which was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Al-Naqeeb, the official spokesman for the Southern Armed Forces, the importance of the great role played by National Southern Media Authority, in supervising and following up the performance of the media sectors, and preparing strategic plans required by the stage.

He also stressed the importance of activating the work of foreign media, and the process of communication and coordination with regional and international media, to organize visits for media delegations to convey an image that reflects the reality on the ground with all professionalism and objectivity.

During the meeting, the President praised the efforts made by the National Southern Media Authority to organize the work of local and foreign media outlets operating in the capital, Aden, and to provide them with the necessary facilities to carry out their tasks smoothly.

At the end of the meeting, the head of National Southern Media Authority valued the great support provided by President Al-Zubaidi to the leadership of the Authority and the sectors under its supervision, to carry out its tasks entrusted to it with efficiency and competence, stressing the progress of the Authority in accordance with the directives of the leadership of the Council on the need to open up to everyone, in accordance with the Council's vision and principles, as it is the incubator for all southerners of all orientations and affiliations.
