The Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank), Mr. "Hashid Al-Hamdani", received this morning in his office in the capital, Aden, His Excellency the French Ambassador to Yemen "Jean-Marie Safa" and both Mrs. "Malissa Rahmouni"  deputy ambassador and Mrs.  Claudie Boudreau, deputy director of the Middle East Department in the French Foreign Ministry, Mrs. Claire Hadara, responsible for the Yemeni file in the French Foreign Ministry, and Mr. Hussein Murshid, Counselor of the French Embassy in Yemen.

The visit, which was a confirmation of what resulted from the ambassador's previous visit to the bank, in laying the foundations for more banking cooperation and the bank's benefit from French expertise in this field.

 The CEO of CAC Bank, Hashed Al-Hamdani, briefed His Excellency the French Ambassador and his entourage on the overall activities of the bank, the banking and economic situation in Yemen and the liberated areas, the efforts of (CAC Bank), its banking capabilities, and its contributions to the stability of the local currency exchange rate under the direct supervision of the Central Bank of Yemen and the government.  And the steps that were taken at various levels to keep up with the work of the latest banking systems used in international banks and exchanges.

 The two sides discussed the importance of the solid banking relationship between CAC Bank and the French banking sector and the possibility of reactivating it again.

 Including the possibility of  the French side to qualify the cadres of CAC Bank through specific training courses and technical consultations, within the framework of building and strengthening capacities in the economic, financial and banking fields provided by the French government in the areas of building and strengthening state institutions and the legitimate government in Yemen.

  Al-Hamdani praised the visit of Ambassador Jean-Marie Safa and his accompanying delegation to the headquarters of CAC Bank in the capital, Aden, and his interest in supporting the banking sector in Yemen and supporting state institutions, expressing his thanks on behalf of himself and on behalf of all CAC Bank employees to the ambassador of the friendly Republic of France on this visit, which confirms the depth of the Yemeni-French relations in various fields.

 The visit was attended by the Bank's Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Banking Operations, Mr. "Rafiq Al-Qubati", the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the Operations Sector, Mr. "Shakib Aliwa", the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the Islamic Sector, Mr. "Fawaz Bin Shuaib" and Mr. "Abdo Mohsen", Director of the Strategic Planning and Research Department.
