The Southern Transitional Council welcomes the agreement concluded between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran mediated by People's Republic of China, which includes the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Council welcomed this positive development, hoping that this will contribute to the consolidation of security and stability in our region and the world.

Our welcome stems from an earlier call made by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, in which he called on the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran to dialogue and resume the relations between them, as an embodiment of our keenness to consolidate relations between the peoples and countries of our region.

 Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri.

The official spokesman of the Southern Transitional Council.

 Member of the Presidency.
