Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, a member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, met, on Thursday, with the Presidium and members of the Preparatory Committee of Shabwa Comprehensive Conference at the headquarters of the Presidium in the capital, Aden.

 Al-Awlaki welcomed the Preparatory Committee, praising its continuous efforts with various segments of society in Shabwa to hold the Comprehensive Conference in the interest of Shabwa and its people in obtaining their rights, strengthening their social fabric and achieving stability in the governorate.

 Al-Awlaki affirmed the support of the Transitional Council for the work of the preparatory committee and everything that would serve Shabwa governorate and empower its people to manage the civil, security and military institutions of their governorate.

 The Presidium of the Preparatory Committee of Shabwa Comprehensive Conference gave an explanation of what had been accomplished during the last period on the way to holding the conference, appreciating the positive role of the leadership of the Transitional Council towards the work of the Preparatory Committee and its efforts to hold the conference.
