President Al-Zubaidi: The Houthi militia does not believe in peace and its existence is associated with war, destruction and blood

 President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, stressed the need for a unified international and regional position to end the arrogance of the Houthi militia, and to put an end to its continuous escalation and continuous violations that affected civil and economic objects, the latest of which was the targeting of ports in the south.
 This came in a meeting held this evening at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, HE Jean-Marie Safa, Ambassador of the Republic of France to Yemen.
 The meeting discussed developments in the political, military and economic situation in our country, and the reasons for the failure of international efforts aimed at extending the international armistice and establishing peace.
 In the context of his meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of France, President Al-Zubaidi noted the need for the international community and the countries sponsoring the political process in our country to assume their responsibilities in condemning the continuous terrorism of the Houthi militia and pressuring it to seriously engage in the peace process, despite this militia does not believe in peace and its existence is associated with war, destruction and blood.
 The meeting also dealt with developments in the security situation and the positive results achieved by Arrows of the East operation in Abyan governorate, possible ways to revive the deteriorating economic situation, and the need for real reforms in the government structure and support for state institutions to enable them to perform their tasks in providing services to citizens.
 The President  praised the support provided by the French government to our country in the agricultural and fish sectors, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in the two countries.
 For his part, HE Marie Safa expressed his country's support for all the efforts made by the Presidential Leadership Council in its endeavors to stabilize the situation, establish peace, and consolidate security and stability in the country and the region.
 The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammad Al-Ghaithi, Head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission.
