The Internal Southern National Dialogue Team meets the Southern Independent Anti-Corruption Commission

The Internal Southern National Dialogue Team headed by Dr. Salih Mohsen Al-Hajj, head of the team, met on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, with representatives of the independent Southern Anti-Corruption Commission, at the outset, the team welcomed the representatives of the Commission, emphasizing their important role in society and the state.
 The Dialogue Team reaffirmed the suffering of the people of the south from the devastating effects of the occupation of the south in 1994, which encouraged the spread of the phenomenon of corruption and wrong behaviors in all joints of state institutions, stressing the need for concerted efforts and adopting the approach of dialogue to solve internal problems and unite ranks to face the current challenges and combat corruption.
 The Dialogue Team also praised the active participation of everyone in the Southern National Dialogue without exception for anyone, in order to launch a new phase to draw features and a roadmap for the future, and to contribute to the formulation of the Southern National Pact, providing a brief explanation of what has been accomplished and what the team plans to accomplish in the future.
 In their turn, the representatives of the Commission appreciated the role played by the Southern National Dialogue Team in bringing points of view together, which reflects the Southern Transitional Council's conviction in the principle of dialogue and overcoming the negatives.
 They emphasized the importance of having a vision to combat corruption and institutionalize integrity, transparency and accountability, and expressed their hope that the outcomes of the Southern National Dialogue would be crowned with success.
