The Internal Southern National Dialogue Team, Chaired by Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Haj, head of the team, met on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, with representatives of the Southern Anti-Corruption Commission, stressing on their aspired role in society and the desired democratic southern federal state.

The dialogue team stressed the importance of transparency, honesty and integrity in the desired future, as the destructive effects of the absence of this culture after the occupation of the south encouraged the spread of corruption and wrong behavior, and dissipated trust between the citizen and the state.

 The dialogue team explained the importance of the active participation of all in the Southern National Dialogue, without excluding anyone, in order to launch a new phase to draw features and a road for the future, and to contribute in the formulation of the Southern National Pact to agree on it as a pact and covenant that governs the relations of all in the future, and in order to achieve the principles and foundations of the modern southern civil state, and the partnership in southern national decision-making.

After that, the dialogue team listened to an overview of the establishment of the commission in 2016, its activities and the successes it has achieved over the past period, where the representatives of the Commission pointed out the importance of unifying efforts to eradicate corruption and the role it plays in prolonging the war, destabilizing stability and wasting peace opportunities, expressing their support for the Southern National Dialogue and its outcomes.
