The Security Committee in Al-Mahfad District, Abyan Governorate, announced the declaration of a state of emergency, and night curfew, starting on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, and called on citizens to abide by this.

 A statement issued by the Security Committee stated the following :

 1- The movement of motorcycles on the international line and branch lines leading to the market, the city and the neighboring areas is prohibited from six in the evening until six in the morning.

 2- Not to roam at night in the market and the city and its suburbs from eight thirty in the evening until five in the morning, except for the international line.

 3- It is allowed for emergency cases, according to a report from the checkpoints to the security belt operations in Al-Mahafad and the  joint operations.

 The Security Committee called on the people of the District to abide by the measures taken, and to assist the security authorities in carrying out their tasks, and published the number of Al-Mahfad belt operations “778503702” to communicate in the case of any information or complaints by citizens.
