Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting in charge of the President of the Southern Transitional Council and Chairman of the National Assembly, today, Wednesday, October 12, a meeting of the Security Committee for the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council.

The meeting discussed a number of security and military issues, and the accomplishment of the tasks assigned during the past period, in addition to military developments on the fronts, praising the steadfastness and of the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces and the successes achieved by the southern forces on all fronts and the victories achieved in the operations of Arrows of the East and the South, in Abyan Governorate.

In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik stressed the need to raise security vigilance among the ranks of the southern security forces in order to purify the country from the clutches of terrorist organizations (ISIS and al-Qaeda) and the forces loyal to them to defend the homeland.

He praised the success of the security campaign of vehicles identification number, stressing the need to apply it to everyone in the capital, Aden, without exception.

The meeting came out with a number of decisions and practical measures to address the various topics and issues that were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Qassem, Director of the Office of the Chairman of the National Assembly .
