Major General Bin Brik meets with Leadership of Southern Judicial Club in Hadramout

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today with the leadership of the Southern Judicial Club (SJC) in Hadramout governorate in the city of Al-Mukalla.
At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik warmly welcomed the leadership of the SJC and conveyed to them the greetings of President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), expressing his happiness to meet the leadership of the SJC in Hadramout and his appreciation for their role in enhancing law and order in society and conducting judicial work as well as achieving justice for citizens.
During the meeting, Major General Bin Brik discussed the latest developments on the southern political landscape, especially after the Southern National Dialogue and the consultative meeting of southern components and the signed national charter, stressing that the southerners should stand united like a single body in front of the encountered challenges, as this is what the STC has been working reaching by assuming the patriotic national responsibility to integrate all the political parties and components into the framework of the STC as an umbrella for all the people of the South with their various affiliations to achieve the aspirations of the people of the South for independence and the restoration of the state of the South.
Major General Bin Brik stressed the importance of judges carrying out their duties and working to speed up the process of adjudicating cases according to the system followed and at a high pace to pass judgments, lauding the role of Hadramout judges and their handling of the responsibility entrusted to them in the governorate, as well as cases from Shabwa, Socotra, and Almahra, pointing to having the sterling will to lay firm foundations that curb crime, corruption, and terrorism, and affirming that the STC considers restoring and building state institutions, including the judiciary, a priority for establishing a state of order, law, and justice.
The meeting discussed the situation of the judiciary in the South in general and Hadramout in particular, reviewing the most prominent difficulties facing the judiciary and the challenges that may hinder the work of its affiliates, in addition to the state of the infrastructure of the judicial authority and its most prominent requirements that properly enhance the performance of its work.
In turn, the leadership of the SJC in Hadramout expressed its happiness at meeting the Vice-President of the STC and the Chairman of the National Assembly, its appreciation for his support and immense role in strengthening the judicial authority, and its blessing and congratulations for the process of the southern national dialogue and the consultative meeting of the southern components and the outcome of the National Charter, praising the convening of the sixth session of the Assembly in Hadramout and its final statement.
