President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Head of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a cable of congratulations to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the sisterly State of Kuwait, on the second anniversary of his assumption of power.

In the cable of congratulations, President Al-Zubaidi expressed, in his name and on behalf of the people of the south, his warmest congratulations and sincere fraternal feelings on this occasion, wishing His Highness good health and well-being, and that the brotherly Kuwaiti people achieve what they aspire to under his wise leadership.

Also, President Al-Zubaidi valued the sincere fraternal stances of the State of Kuwait, leadership and people, with their brothers in the south, and its generous support for our country over the past decades.

At the end of the cable of congratulations, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his aspiration that the distinguished historical bilateral relations that link our southern people with the brotherly Kuwaiti people will witness further development and fruitful cooperation, in order to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
