The General Secretariat reviews report of political scene and performance of Studies and Research department

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Monday, held its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting reviewed the political report submitted by the Political Department, which reviewed the developments of the political scene, and the most prominent events on the southern scene during the past two weeks, foremost of which is the speech of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, and its results and political dimensions, as well as the scene of recent protests and demonstrations in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of Hadramout and Shabwa, in addition to the recent briefing of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Hans Grundberg about Yemen.
The meeting reviewed a report on the performance of the Department of Studies and Research in the General Secretariat during the first half of the year 2021, which included the most prominent activities of the department, and the most important achievements accomplished within the framework of its tasks during the mentioned period.
The meeting also discussed the most prominent political, security and military issues related to the south, and its people and cause.
The meeting listened to the weekly activity report of the departments of the General Secretariat, and also reviewed the assignments related to the General Secretariat issued by the Presidency of the Council, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
