Today, units from our Southern Armed Forces successfully repelled an attack by Al-Qaeda terrorist elements on one of our positions in the Al-Buqayrah area of Wadi Omran, located in the Mudiyah district of Abyan Governorate.

An operational source in the 2nd Support and Reinforcement Brigade confirmed that the brigade's forces effectively and heroically countered the attack, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorist elements. The clashes resulted in minor injuries to one of the heroes of the 4th Battalion.

The source further explained that our forces continue their military operations as part of the "Sahm al-Sharq" (East Arrow) operation, aimed at eliminating the remnants of terrorist elements by tracking them toward remote mountainous areas and valleys, preventing infiltration attempts, and proactively repelling attacks.
