The Administrative Body of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its second periodic meeting today, Sunday, headed by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the Assembly.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly, Mr. Issam Abdo Ali, and the heads of the assembly's blocs in the governorates and deputy heads of the committees, the overall strategic plan for the work of the committees during the coming period was approved, which included in its first phase the preparation of a factual base for the work of each committee, collecting laws and regulations, identifying gaps and setting appropriate solutions for them, and reviewing the level of achievement and the results of the oversight that will emanate from them.

The meeting discussed the initial plans of the committees that were prepared by the heads of the committees and their deputies, which focused on the legislative and oversight tasks, aspects of evaluation and follow-up for each committee, and developing proposals and visions to activate and coordinate their work to be a contributing factor for the local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) in the governorates of the South to achieve the outlined goals of the STC.
