The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council's Presidium held, on Wednesday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, its periodic meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Fadel Mohammed Al-Jaadi, member of the Council's Presidium, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.
The meeting reviewed the report of the political scene submitted by the Political Department, which dealt with the most prominent topics and issues on the southern arena, the most important of which are the results of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi's meeting with the US ambassador, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the war launched by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
The General Secretariat expressed the condemnation of the Southern Transitional Council of the silence of the international community on the genocide against which the Palestinian people are subjected in Gaza Strip, and the violation of international laws by the Israeli occupation forces by committing a war crime through Israel's use of military force against civilians and preventing their means of life.
The meeting also stood before the latest developments in the south, including the success of the security campaign in the capital Aden, which aims to prevent the movement of motorcycles and unlicensed cars and prevent the carrying of weapons in public places.
The meeting discussed the report submitted by the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs on the level of discipline of the departments and Executive Bodies in the governorates and the coordinators of the Transitional Council in universities, in submitting the financial reports of the covenant that have been disbursed to implement the activities and initiatives.
The meeting had reviewed and approved the report of the activity of the General Secretariat departments during the past week, in addition to the minutes of the previous meeting.
