Al-Muharrami Makes Phone Call Governor of Socotra after Cyclone Tej's Effects

The Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abdul Rahman Abu Zaraa Al-Muharami, made a phone call to the Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali to check on the conditions of the governorate due to the effects of Cyclone Tej.

Al-Muharrami listen to the Governor of Socotra about the situation in the governorate, and the effects caused by Cyclone Tej on public and private property in various areas of the governorate.

Al-Muharrami was also briefed on the efforts made by the Local Authority, led by Governor Al-Thaqali to overcome the remnants and effects of the Cyclone Tej that struck the Socotra Archipelago Governorate, he directed the Local Authority to inventory the private and public damages left by the Cyclone and submit them to the concerned authorities.

He stressed the need for all state agencies to carry out their duty to confront the repercussions of Cyclone Tej, provide full support to the citizens and those affected, and provide them with the necessary needs because of the damage they suffered.

In turn, the Governor of Socotra, Raafat Al-Thaqli, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abu Zaraa Al-Muharami, for the interest he shows towards the governorate and its people, and the support and they provide in the political leadership for efforts to confront the effects of Cyclone Tej, as well as supporting the efforts of the Local Authority in this aspect.
